Aesthetics
Aesthetics plays an important role within our range of treatments since outer appearance has become more and more important in both professional and private lives. One of our specialties is high-end aesthetic dental reconstruction. We work together with special laboratories (e. g. www.mb-dentaltechnik.com, www.dental-art-hahne.de) which specialize in all-ceramics restorations.
Implantology
Implantology is one of our main areas of treatment. Implants are artificial dental roots which replace missing teeth. They are inserted according to surgical, aesthetic and functional criteria following an accurate planning process which is aided by 3D depiction by means of CT data and sometimes even computer navigation. This enables us to treat even complex cases.
Implantology also includes bone augmentation (e.g. sinus lift) which we carry out in accordance with scientifically approved procedures. We have been able to continuously improve our concept through nearly ten years of experience and by including the most recent scientific findings. And we will continue to maintain this successful concept in the future as well. It is important for us to be able to help you every way we can.
Periodontology
Treatment of periodontal diseases is gaining significance in the scope of therapies provided by dentists. Studies show that periodontal diseases are often connected with other general diseases such as diabetes or heart attacks and apoplexies.
We live up to the importance of this disease by using innovative concepts and continuous further education. We would be happy to help you.
Endodontics
We are able to treat the sometimes rather complex root-canal system of teeth by using state-of-the-art computerized drills. By applying a special procedure we can fill the cleaned and disinfected root canals with thermoplastic material.
This results in a long-term and sealed occlusion of the root canals – an important factor in the preservation of the tooth! Just let us know if you are interested in learning about this in more detail.
Patients with Phobia
A fear of going to the dentist is a problem for many patients. However, if this fear increases to a level which results in suffering from year-long pain or living with unaesthetic teeth, you should put your trust in a dentist who can look back on long-term experience in treating phobic patients. We have been able to help a large number of patients in dealing with their fear. Our team (which also includes an anesthesiologist) can provide you with individualized care.
Treatments can be carried out under anesthetic or in twilight sleep on demand. We can inform you about this subject in a relaxed atmosphere which lets you forget that you are even in a dentist’s office. Trust us – we will find a custom solution for you!
Patients 60+
Currently there are approx. 18 million people living in Germany who are older than 65 – that is about one quarter of the German population. Dentistry has to consider this demographic development and the challenges resulting from it, such as toothless jawbones or xerostomia (a dry mouth) and must react with innovative methods of treatment.

Restorative Treatment
If dental decay or an older composite or amalgam filling is a cause for treatment, our practice offers minimally invasive and highly-qualified options for dental restoration. It is our philosophy to provide you with a long-term solution for your teeth and to preserve as much healthy tooth structure as possible. All-ceramics or gold inlays represent a high-quality solution.
These are fillings which are individually prepared in a dental laboratory. The inlays stand out by their high precision and therefore feature excellent longevity. Don’t hesitate to ask us, we will prepare a customized concept for the treatment of your teeth!
Prophylaxis
Preservation of your teeth and preventative measures are basic building blocks of our dental treatment. Today it is possible to preserve one’s natural teeth into old age through special preventative measures. Dental hygiene at home and a healthy diet are preconditions in the prevention of dental decay and periodontitis. These measures alone, however, are not enough. Persistent residues and bacterial plaque in spots that are difficult to clean require a professional deep cleaning procedure carried out by the dentist. It is also possible to reduce general diseases such as heart attacks and apoplexies by up to 40% through regular preventative treatments (every 3 months).
We employ specialized prophylaxis assistants who will carry out your treatments professionally. Deep cleaning uses gentle techniques (e.g. airflow, hypersonics) to remove bacterial plaques, tartar and stains from the teeth or the interdental space.

Snoring Therapy
Snoring is not only an annoying phenomenon that occurs while we sleep; it can also have quite a negative effect on our well-being. Heavy breathing or, even worse, periods of apnea – which can last as long as several minutes – greatly influence the quality of our sleep. We feel unrested and groggy in the morning.
One possible treatment for this is the so-called dental appliance or mouthpiece device. It is prepared especially and individually for you by a specialized dental laboratory. For more information please ask us during your next visit.
Dental Protection in Sport
One of the most common causes for loss of teeth or injuries to the frontal teeth are accidents during sports such as falls or punches. Whether you play football, go mountain-biking, inline skating, play hockey or do martial arts – one way to protect your teeth is a protective teeth guard individually prepared for you by a specialized dental laboratory. Invisible Orthodontic Treatment
Invisalign is an aesthetic orthodontic treatment which corrects misaligned teeth through customized and removable dental fittings, so-called aligners. By applying a new computer technology called ClinCheck®, it is possible to visualize both the course as well as the result of the treatment in advance. This way you can see what your teeth will look like after the treatment before we have even started.
How does Invisalign work? The Invisalign treatment entails having your diagnosis and treatment plan virtually implemented into 3-D- computer technology in order to move your teeth step by step by using a series of individually prepared transparent aligners. Patients wear each set of aligners for 22 hours per day for at least 2 weeks.
This results in a gradual shifting of the teeth – week by week, millimeter by millimeter until the desired result is achieved. If you would like to have a smile that helps improve your overall outer appearance, Invisalign could be the right method for you.
